Bill Clinton? (Update 2)

I don't think so...

Fox reports that "Rahm Emmanuel went to Bill Clinton to ask Stesak to drop out"?

There's one flaw in that entire argument.   Stesak says that he was offered a job in the WH.  There was no "we might be able to get you a position".   He was adamant about it.

What kind of job in the White House Administration could BILL CLINTON get for him?    What kind of influence does Clinton have in the White House Adminstration?

None... none, whatsoever.   So I'm not buying the White House claim.

And this now means the White House now has two potential problems leading to the next general election:

1)   Emmanuel BROKE the law and offered Stesak a position (I read somewhere, the Secretary of the Navy position?)
2)   The Democrat for the next general election is now a proven liar.

If they want to keep that seat, Emmanuel might need to come clean.. (yes, I'm assuming, deal with it)

Heck, I'm still waiting for the upcoming announcement for Hillary to step down from Sect. Of State and then announce she's re-running in 2012. .. which makes this even MORE fun, especially if she's having her family name thrown under the bus by the Administration.

10:29 A.M -  "Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice...".
Newsbusters notes this is NOT a first time for this administration, as it was reported in Colorado previously.    More fire for the Stesak side of the argument.

11:33 AM -   Unpaid job -   So now it's supposedly that they wanted him to drop out of a Senate Race for a "consultative" (Unpaid) position?    Why the heck would this entice Stesak to drop out, even if it were offered?     Another check mark in favor of the Stesak side of the story.

12:10 PM -  Stesak confirms Bill Clinton -  beh, spoiled all the fun possibilities of this one.   But as someone pointed out, trouble for Emmanuel not over (they added something about 660 saying "direct or indirect"
