Andre Breitbart had been promising a tape now about the racism that is promoted (yes, promoted) by the NAACP... and he took a lot of assault from some individuals claiming he was making it up.
Folks, if there's one thing you should know about Andrew.. he doesn't make things up. If he says he's got proof, you better prepare to get hit and hit hard.
But only could a CBS newsite could use their headline
SHOCK: Video Suggests Racism At NAACP Event
Uhm.. ...
1) why does this come as a shock? You were warned by Breitbart this was coming
2) If you watch the video, there is no "suggestion"... in fact, it's there out in the open, despite your attempt by your webmasters editor to try to downplay it.
On Monday, Breitbart posted a video of a speech by Shirley Sherrod, USDA Rural Development Georgia State Director, delivered at the NAACP's 20th Annual Freedom Fund Banquet.
The video shows Sherrod speaking of racial considerations being a factor for how much help she would give.
"The first time I was faced with having to help a white farmer save his farm, he took a long time talking but he was trying to show me he was superior to me. I know what he was doing, but he had come to me for help. What he didn't know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me was, I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him," Sherrod said.
"I was struggling with the fact that so many black people had lost their farmland, and here I was faced with having to help a white person save their land. So I didn't give him the full force of what I could do. I did enough," Sherrod said. "So that when he, I assumed the Department of Agriculture had sent him to me, either that or the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and he needed to go back and report that I did try to help him."
Where is the "suggestion"?. how about the admission that a Govt official admits to try to do as little as possible to help a US citizen, because of his race.
So here you go, CBS, I thought I'd rewrite the headline for you :
LIBERALS SHOCKED! RACISM PROVED TO BE PROMOTED AT A NAACP MEETING
No, now I'll say this doesn't mean that the NAACP is racist.. but hell, they demanded that the Tea Party supporters distanced themselves from Mr. Williams, so right now, shouldn't the NAACP be distancing themselves from Ms. Sherrod.. But as of yet, I haven't seen any NAACP do that, have you?
Again, the Alphabet Soup media was told this video existed... but they refused to listen (hell, go check out the Big Journalism story on why Holder wasn't questioned about the voter intimidation story on "Face the Nation", and the ridiculous response by CBS afterwards).
Bob Schieffer marginalized the DOJ/New Black Panther controversy first by not asking the Attorney General about it, and then again with his phony “it got very little publicity” line. Of course “it got very little publicity,” Mr. Scheiffer; you’re the guy in charge of publicity! When a mainstream media authority whines that something wasn’t covered in the MSM, it’s the definition of a circular argument.
So how much you want to wager that this gets almost no ASM play either? I mean if it's not shown on the prime-time news, did it really happen?
