Correction: July 25, 2010I (and others) some questions to the NYT to answer in regards to their "correction".
The Political Times column last Sunday, about a generational divide over racial attitudes, erroneously linked one example of a racially charged statement to the Tea Party movement. While Tea Party supporters have been connected to a number of such statements, there is no evidence that epithets reportedly directed in March at Representative John Lewis, Democrat of Georgia, outside the Capitol, came from Tea Party members.
1) While Tea Party supporters have been connected to a number of such statements
When? Where? Who? I'd like to see one valid example.
2) that epithets reportedly directed in March at Representative John Lewis, Democrat of Georgia, outside the Capitol, came from Tea Party members.
What epithets? You have seen the mulitple videos. Did you hear any epithets? I didn't hear any. I guess the NYT reporter has Superman type hearing that we plebians don't have? So there were epithets spoken? Can you be more specific as to what was said then, NYT?
No? I didn't think you could... this is one of those "non-apology apologies".. yeah, we lambasted you and will still think you did it, but we couldn't prove it, so we'll pretend to apologize and then get you next time .. and your little dog too!
