Even CNN can't figure out anyway to spin SC's Mr. Greene

Just channel surfing here at the office, and just decide to stop at the CNN channel, just because they'd happened to be talking about Alvin Green (the infamous SC Democratic candidate), and wow, CNN is at a loss of words on how to try to spin this speech for Greene.

Both the reporter on the ground (who's name I missed) and Don Lemon had no clue how to respond to some of the comments (or rather, the lack of comments) that Mr. Greene made.

He refused to talk to the media before-hand (not as though that's a bad thing), promising to put specifics in his twenty.. er seven minute speech (Yes, they were trying to hint that unlike most politicians he was under his time limit), but the CNN reporter on the ground, basically said he came up empty there as well.

Then she said "unlike most politicians", he left the stage through the backdoor, and didn't want to stop to talk to the media or take any questions.

But you could just tell that the CNN reporter wanted to say he was "not so intelligent", but she caught her self and implied that the audience came in thinking "He wasn't up to the job", I'm guessing"not like current politicians"?

I'm thinking that'll be his platform for CNN future spins?   "Not like current politicians".  I guess that's one way to ride the anti-incumbent wave of the moment.

It was so bad, that they tried to spin his  "Image award" joke as a funny line, but nobody in the audience apparently found it a great line.  (you could hear the pin drop, even on the rebroadcast).
