Vice President Joe Biden brushed aside suggestions on Sunday that Democrats will suffer big losses in November midterm elections, vowing that Barack Obama's governing party will "shock the heck out of everybody."
I'm guessing the shock would be if the Democrats lose EVERY election? Now how'd that be for a midterm shocker...which admittedly it won't; but it'd be fun as hell to see the media try to spin it if that were to happen , but it won't be because of dislike of Democratic Socialist policies... it'll be because.. and I"m putting this down for my predictions from Tingly Matthews and Bathtub Olbermann.
"The American public is too stupid to know just how bad things could be without a Democratic majo.. er.. we had a Democrat Majority? Okay, they're too stupid to know that we need 100% to .. oh we only needed a simple majority? Okay, they're too stupid to know that because of checks and bal... oh, we had two of the three branches of govt? Okay, they're too stupid to listen to our vast knowled... oh, we're not that smart? Dammit, okay, I'm going to go dunk my head in a bucket of water" (Crumpet to Douglas Adams and Marvin the Android :) )
Of course, my favorite part of the article comes right afterwards:
Biden said he was "confident when people take a look at what has happened since we've taken office in November and comparing it to the alternative, we're going to be in great shape."
BWahahahahahahahhaha... okay, gotta catch my... BWHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The vice president said he believes the Obama administration will get credit from voters for helping guide the economy out of recession and passing key legislation on health care and financial reform.
It's just going to take time," Biden said.
"The election is not until November. And I think we're going to have to firmly make our case."er.. yeah... double digit plus unemployment, record low housing sales, and lousy retail numbers... Yep... I'm thinking maybe Joe Biden received his law degree from teh same school as Harvey T Birdman, or maybe the same law school all those guys who lost to Perry Mason went to?
